I love his custom DT logo IPad holder
Remember when he and Mike made fun of Kevin Moore for having too many keyboards on stage? ✌️😅
The organ with the distortion unit and leslie pedal would cost almost $13,000... just for that portion of the rig.
Hello boss fantastique music ici France 🇫🇷 capitale champagne epernay ville off champagne by by 😊😂❤
Hello bosse fantastique music. 😊❤
That is awesome 🎹🎸 Master Jordan 👏👏👍👌Greats 👋
Pink? Really. 🤦♂️
This is wonderful! Thank you Larry.
moving the bass line A to Bb to C and doing any of the stuff on top of it, he shows is very sparkly and open but he probably got to that later.....he did......the point is, by moving the bass line to start on A completely changes the sound from the start...and you'll find stuff on top intuitively that works.....even if you don't get it down to a science like Larry,,, even if "it is science".....as he says.
that smile you give when you show off the tilted keyboard...awesome...
Cool
Very Larry Young from Larry Goldings
Information & inspiration. We love you, Jordan!
I can't believe I just found you! You are seriously something I have never seen!
i can't believe there is no Moog
Chico Marx finger swipes...that takes me back. I watched a lot of Marx Brothers as a kid thanks to my "greatest generation" grandparents. 😁
I still prefer a true tonewheel. I don't think the purity of sound will ever be duplicated, even by Hammond, Suzuki etc. 🎹🎹🎹🎹☮✌
0:58 looking up at the camera, a bit like Hans, upset with Monk's harmonies. I hope to not study in Braunau with Hans someday. The obvious (duh?) wisdom of the inversion creating a fourth's sound. How did i not notice this? Maybe hit it by accident, but never used it intentionally . DANKE KUMPEL,,,,er ,,,,,thanks, dude.
He’s as good as Greg Rolie and an amazing song writer . To me both are equal
Kronos should be my favorite keyboard... I need one
Radial Engineering has made my recordings sound clean and wonderful 💥
That was so very cool….
Hmph! Giving away Chico Marx's secret fingering technique! Shame!!! 🤣🤣 Excellent video, Professor Goldings!!!
This guy is good and knows his stuff... God bless him...❤
As a musical theatre conductor and music director, this is fascinating!
Hey, it's 2024 and the SK-Pro is quite a bit newer and lighter (especially for gigging with 2 manuals...), and it has an apparently improved Leslie sim. Which would you choose, for gigging: SK-Pro 2 manual or, for the same money or less, the XK-5 upper manual only, with a controller for the lower board? (maybe getting the lower board down the line). Thank you, wish I had that 122 of yours! I do have 1969 E-112, my dad bought it for me in July, 1969.
My go to setting is 16.8.4,2/23
Pure Gold
Hi Jordan, am Frederick and a huge fan of yours, actually i wish to see you make a short clip playing lead guiter in Yamaha psr sx600.that’s the instrument that i can afford, however i I’lld love to hear how you could use the lead guitar in it
Thanks Brian. It’s no wonder your book is helpful and efficient.
I may have seen this years ago, but in the past few years I have been exploring these fourths approaches. Thank you so much for sharing this info and reinforcing my thoughts about those voicings. I always love your work Brian.
the thing is he seems like such a genuine normal nice guy but just happens to know a load of stuff about keyboards aswell
космос
Jordan rudess is a king of keys him are the best
Талантище! ❤️ Красава! ❤
From my experience, running even ONE laptop live isn´t "super simple and dependable" ! Cool gig that I would LOVE to have, however being old school, I could see 2 great players using a 3 keyboard rig each covering the gig. I would assume with Katy Perry, the visual takes precedence hence the 1 player on stage.
jordan rudess and his battle station
Superb
imo Benny Andersson is the Best Synth Player
So cool. A question about the organ - that's the Hammond sk1? I wonder if that push button control for the Leslie effect lets you get that sound as the B3 and it's rocker switch and a Leslie - when you can flick it off and the rotations are dying away and you hear the vibrato getting a little bit less and less each second
Playing at the Blue Note, ya say? Well aren't YOU fancy 😅 thanks so much I was dying to know what this setting is. I don't even have a Hammond organ yet but I hope
Excellent, thank you very much.
Waterfall keys, nice touch, sounds near identical to me That said I am fairly hard of hearing after 20yrs + of playing Hammond emulations Live. Like it though, looks well built & sounds great.
My Guy! Love His Spirit! Was cool meeting him in Aruba backstage playing for the Roots.
...and he makes what he does look so easy! WOW!!!
NICE💜💜💜💜
When I saw the film of this show and listened to the soundtrack, I pictured like a 60 pc orchestra in a dining hall sized room under the stage with a conductor that doesn’t have to do 7 things at once, standing above you as bright as day! Turns out, that pit is like a winding cave and the fact that you guys (just 10 of you playing several different parts and don’t get me started on Alex playing while conducting, while reading everyone’s music while constantly switching sounds) are rocking out hard down there, in the dark, barely able to move around and barely able to see each other is simply incredible! Everything about Hamilton just blows my mind!!!!
Nice
this is the person that I want to show my kids what music can be
Horrible sounding organ. Hammonds are garbage!
